Changing Hands Land Connection Workshops
Facilitated networking for farmers who wish to access land, and for landholders who want to sell or lease their agricultural land or business.
Are you a landholder who wants to sell or lease your agricultural land or business? Or are you a farmer or rancher who wishes to access land? Attend a Changing Hands Workshop to connect with and meet other farmers who just might be the missing piece of your farmland puzzle!
These half-day workshops begin with a short skill-building course on elevator-pitch writing. You’ll learn ways to articulate what you’re looking for—as well as what you bring to the table. In the second half, the focus will turn to the group, where you’ll work through a facilitated session of networking for effective and meaningful connection. Whether you’re a landholder or a landseeker, come prepared to ask questions and share your experiences. You’re bound to make a surprising number of connections—and learn something new about yourself and community along the way.
Upcoming Workshops:
January 15, 2026, 10am-1pm, Hillsboro
“I thought Geoffrey did a PHENOMENAL JOB with the day's structure, hosting, guiding, making sure the purpose of the day was achieved.”
“Geoffrey did a great job! The group dynamics were great and smart approach to breaking the ice in the group. I would come to another event in the future.”
*Full scholarships are available for BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, Veterans, and Low-Income participants. Questions? Please email geoffrey@oregonfarmcorps.org.
